Congratulations to our newest alumna, Ms. Jessica Yau! Jessica just received her B.S. in Bioengineering and earned our department's elite Honors certificate, awarded to just a handful of graduates each year.
A few words about Jessica: She joined the lab in January 2015 as a freshman at the University of Maryland. Jessica received numerous awards, including a prestigious HHMI Fellowship, and earlier this year, the 2018 Fischell Outstanding Leadership Award. Jessica will wrap up a research paper on her work this summer before beginning a position at the NIH as a Post Bac IRTA Fellow. She plans to attend graduate school after her 1 year IRTA fellowship.
