Best wishes to our newest alumna, Dr. Krystina L. Hess, who wrapped up in the lab today with her PhD in bioengineering. Congrats!!! Dr. Hess will now begin a position with the Department of Defense R&D Command working at Edgewood Chemical Biological Center at the interface of biomaterials and synthetic biology.

The research focuses on the mechanisms by which nanostructures built from immune signals enter antigen presenting cells and the kinetics that these events occur at. Congratulations to Michelle and co-author Dr. Krystina Hess.
