Best wishes to our newest alumna, Dr. Krystina L. Hess, who wrapped up in the lab today with her PhD in bioengineering. Congrats!!! Dr. Hess will now begin a position with the Department of Defense R&D Command working at Edgewood Chemical Biological Center at the interface of biomaterials and synthetic biology. Congrats to Haleigh Eppler, NIH doctoral fellow, who received the best poster award at the annual Molecular and Cell Biology (MOCB) retreat last week. Keep up the great work!

The research focuses on the mechanisms by which nanostructures built from immune signals enter antigen presenting cells and the kinetics that these events occur at.
