Welcome to our newest member of the lab, Dr. Robert "Smitty" Oakes! Dr. Oakes received his PhD in Bioengineering from the University of Utah with Prof. Patrick Tresco in 2016. Dr. Oakes then trained as a postdoctoral scientist with Prof. Lonnie Shea at the University of Michigan. Smitty's work in our lab will focus on autoimmune disease. Welcome Smitty!
