Congratulations to Maeesha Noshin, who has received an ASPIRE Undergraduate Research Fellowship from the Maryland Technology Enterprise Institute! The ASPIRE Fellowship offers students a unique opportunity to venture beyond the classroom through collaboration with engineering faculty and staff on mutually interesting projects with industry relevance. Congrats to Maeesha and her graduate mentor, Emily Gosselin!

Read more about Smitty and Maeesha on the team page. Prof. Jewell is the recipient of UMD's 2018 Clark School of Engineering Outstanding Junior Faculty Research Award. The Junior Faculty Outstanding Research Award is one of the highest honors the Clark School awards to junior faculty, and was instituted in 2010 to recognize exceptionally influential research accomplishments by faculty in the first 10 years of their independent career.
