Good new to share that a new paper from the lab on delivery route considerations for harnessing biomaterials to drive selective tolerance has been accepted for publication in Advanced NanoBioMed Research!
Congratulations to lead author, Dr. Marian Ackun-Farmmer! Stay tuned for the full manuscript. Read more about Marian on the team page. Happy to report that a new paper from the lab on combinatorial adjuvant design for cancer vaccination has been published in Advanced Science (IF = 17.5)!
Congratulations to all the authors! Read the full manuscript here. Learn more about our group on the team page. This week ten members of the lab presented our most recent work at the national meeting of the Biomedical Engineering Society. Great to be back in person to catch-up with friends and colleagues!

Congrats! Read more about Shrey on the team page. Dr. Jewell joined other vaccine and immunotherapy experts to speak on challenges and opportunities in this dynamic space earlier this week at the BioInnovation Conference.
Thanks to the organizers for an exciting panel! Welcome to our newest lab member, Corinne Martin! Corinne is an undergraduate Bioengineering major who will be carrying out her Honors research in the lab.
Stayed tuned for more updates on the team page! On Friday at the BIOE retreat, Camilla Edwards - NIH Fellow in the lab, received the best talk award for her work on microneedles. Congrats Camilla, and to all the participants and awardees!
Read more about Camilla on the team page. Congratulations to Camilla Edwards, Clark Fellow in the lab, who has been selected for an NIH Fellowship through the Cancer Biology T32 program. Thanks to the NIH and the program Directors for the amazing support!
Read more about Camilla on the team page. A new paper from the lab has been published in Biomaterials Science! Led by lab alumni Dr. Jim Andorko, the paper investigates the geographic link between the location of immune signals in lymph nodes, between lymph nodes, and to tumors. This knowledge could contribute to design rules for new cancer vaccination strategies. Congratulations to Jim and all the authors!
