Read more about Josh on the team page. Keep up the good work! The Jewell lab presented at the Society for Biomaterials 2017 National Meeting this week in Minneapolis, MN. Dr. Qin Zeng, postdoctoral scientist in the lab, presented a podium presentation on her work using microneedles to enhance cancer vaccination. Dr. Jewell chaired a session on immune engineering and presented the lab's work on engineering lymph node function and promoting immune tolerance. Thanks to all the organizers for the opportunity and to all the attendees and presenters.

The Jewell lab delivered 6 presentations at the American Chemical Society national meeting in San Francisco, CA this week. James Andorko, AAPS Graduate Fellow, and Lisa Tostanoski, NSF Graduate Fellow each presented their work during both oral and poster presentations. Dr. Jewell chaired a session on immune engineering and presented two talks on different technologies the lab is using to promote immune tolerance. Thanks to the organizers of all of the sessions for the opportunities, and to all the attendees and presenters!

The American Chemical Society organized a press conference to highlight the lab's work being presented at the 2017 National Meeting to combat autoimmune disease more effectively and specifically.
